Hi Sachin, what do you make of all this?

Very interesting stuff. Yes that innings in Perth at 19 was very important to my career. There's no doubt that I was on high at 24 with some of my best batting and that award. I can't believe 31 coincided so perfectly with the tennis elbow and my fight to overcome it. Yes at 36, that 200 in the South Africa ODI was a big statement, but I still feel that winning the World Cup the next year was bigger. Still it's a pretty damn good fit.

I'm a cricket fan as you can probably tell, so it's an honour to talk with you.

Yes, but what's a good Aussie fan doing singing my praises, when you have so many cricketing greats of your own?

Look the reason is that I want to tell the world about 'Life Cycles' and one way to do it is to show people in different countries how it works with their leading citizens.

OK, have you done other cricketers?

Yes I've done Ricky Ponting and I've yet to write up profiles on Adam Gilchrist and Brett Lee. They fit really well.

Yes did you see that photo of me with the frizzy hair?

Oh yes and I've got to say he was my hero too. I tried to copy his back-breaking serve. I wanted to volley like him and everything else. I didn't care about his temper and I was always on his side.

How strange, so was I. He still plays a great game.

Yes, I've been tinkering around most of my life.

Oh yes, he blew me away with his artistry and talent.

Don't you wish you could play as well as him?

Sure, but I never had the application to stick with the classical grades and I'm happy with what I can do.

What if I told you, that in a parallel universe you could play like Paderewski?

You must be joking. Anyway, be it ever so humble I have a musical talent, that I taught myself and it keeps me quite content.

And what might that be?

Well I always used to play with sheet music and then I started to memorise the songs, but it was time consuming. So I slowly learnt that most songs can be analysed by their structure.

What the heck do you mean by 'structure'?

I mean there are certain musical shortcuts that all good composers use to make a song memorable.

And you learnt this on your own.

Yes, bit by bit, just like I taught myself to record on an Ensoniq synthesisizer.

No lessons, no books, no magic pills, no parallel you's. How long did all this take?

Probably been mucking around for years. Now I can play hundreds of songs, just about anything I hear.

Could I do this?

Not necessarily. You'd need some musical talent and some theory and a 'good ear' for melody and loads of practice.

That sounds quite hard.

Yes, but all the rewarding things in life usually are.

Yes, I mean look at the perfect sequence. Starts in converted bombers at 24, goes into passengers and cars at 31, sells out at 36, forms Laker Airlines at 43, applies for transatlantic licence at 48, launches skytrain at 55 and sues the big boys and goes to the Bahamas at 60.
I did have a hell of a life you know. I was an entrepreneur because I had lots of ideas of how to do things better and also because I couldn't stand any other bastard telling me what to do.
That's true isn't it? I remember reading that you only had to report to the Chairman of the Board at British United, but that was one person too much. By the way, you were a sort of living legend when you were alive. When I went looking for video footage, what did I see but this French pop singer doing a number about you.
Oh yes, I adored all that. Used to put it on at top volume when I threw a party at my home in the Bahamas.
I wish I could have been there.

Hi, I understand Rebekah is reluctant to talk, so she has sent along a legal representative to make a statement.

Yes, Mr. Killion that's correct. She wants her privacy respected at this time.

It sounds a bit rich to me, considering her former paper 'The News Of The World' didn't much respect the privacy of anyone, from celebrities to victim's of crime.

Well maybe I can just read you the statement. " My client will be vigorously defending all charges made against her and wishes it be known that she considers portrayals of her career and life, such as you have done, are biased and inaccurate. She always considers the greater public good when publishing any story as editor, but does consider that sometimes her best intentions have been misconstrued.........and further that she plans to carry on with her career........etc. etc........."

Are we talking about the same person? She's admitted paying the police for information. They called her policy of publicly naming paedophiles "grossly irresponsible". There may be an investigation by the FBI into hacking the phones of 9/11 victims etc. etc. Still it will all come out in the court case eventually. Police have so much evidence to trawl through, it's going to take a while.

You know what? I don't think there's much more to be said.

A Chat With Cadel

Hi Cadel. Congrats on this magnificent win. When I watched you arm in arm in the final moment and heard Tina Arena sing the National Anthem, I had goosebumps. I had to go back to the America's Cup win in the 80's, to have a point of comparison. We'd never won the premier event in world cycling. Until now, of course.

Yes, although everyone knows my BMX days happened when I was 14. The way you put it about mountain biking however was correct. I didn't want to go there and then the race organiser met me by accident and told me I should have another go.
I'm pleased to hear. There is no question of 24 and road racing however.
Absolutely, and at 31 I was certainly down in the dumps about coming second and getting injured.
You're a true fighter Cadel. I could see the way you fought for your painful recovery at 7, and to be an Olympian at 19, and here it was again.

Oh yes and I even feature one of their leaders. A whole new level of the theory will be unfolded in a way that will both amaze and entertain you. It doesn't matter whether you like historical figures or the latest 'pop culture', I cover it all. This is what I call:- the power of the 'Revolution'. In your year at 24, some amazing things have happened to all manner of people. If you felt like it was your destiny to win, that's because it was.
Well you can get no better than Wimbledon Champion and No. 1 ranking and I have turned 24.
Rafa said in his post-match interview, that he had to go away and improve against you. You matched him shot for shot. I was blown away at how you won.
Well I'm sure he'll be back bigger and better so I can't rest either.

Yes it did profoundly. The film is quite accurate. I was so uncomfortable beforehand and I knew so much depended on me getting it right.
That turning point in your life when things could have gone one way or the other is what I call the 'Year of Broken Pathways'
You mean to say it ran on for twelve months?
Well yes. Not all the time, but some of the time. Do you remenber what happened back in May of 1939.
Oh yes I do. That was my visit to the US and Canada. That was very important too.

Say how'd you get to us here. We haven't had much to do with each other when we were alive and it's pretty much the same now.

No I only wanted to say that your case of identical circumstances happening to the same people twelve years apart is phenomenal.
Yes well I never thought about it that way. I only ever just did my damn job, that's all.

No, it is the simple fact that your lives got turned upside down, in different ways of course, but at exactly the same age. That's what I do. I show how life really goes. It's new and different. I guess you could say that when I dig up cases like yours, I'm just doing my job.
Yeah I learnt a thing or two in '43 about this here Rosa Parks. I wasn't so surprised to see it was her again in '55. Kinda quiet, but a troublemaker none the less.

Yes you're right he's not there! History is written by the winners. Never a truer saying.

What's This 'Life Cycles'?

"What are you trying to tell me. That there's some new idea about life in 12 year cycles. Oh I think I know that one. What's that.....it's not the one I think.
